The tour guide, Davis, was very professional, flexible and hard work. There was plenty of food, except it's very rich and spicy for us, most of us in the group are Cantonese. But Davis did request more non-spicy food for us. In our group, most of us are seniors. Daivs did adjusted the pace to accommodate. I will suggest on your brochures and advertisements to let people know that there is a lot of walking and stairs involved, and in high altitudes area.

Itinerary of 6 days fit my planned visit to Chengdu city and Jiuzhaigou. Only comment is the need for tour guide to ask the f anyone needs English translation.

The tour guide is very professional. The arrangements are very reasonable.

1. The size of the group, 20 was manageable and the right size for the various sights. 2. The weather held up quite well and made this trip enjoyable and memorable. 3. Impressed by the two grottos that we visited. 4. We walked on an average of 6 miles per day which helped in seeing a variety of sights. This aided in working off the meals which averaged approximately 10 dishes for lunches and dinners. 5. Very good variety of daytime and evening events.

Our China tour with Peony Tours was a wonderful and memorable experience. The itinerary offered an amazing variety of natural scenery, cultural heritage, historical sites, and modern city development. The Yangtze River cruise and our visit to the Three Gorges Dam were unforgettable highlights. We were truly amazed by the monumental scale and extraordinary engineering of the dam. The magnificent skylines and impressive infrastructure of Chongqing and Shanghai also left us deeply impressed. The hotels were excellent, the food was delicious, and all transportation arrangements were smooth and well organized. We especially appreciated the convenience of Alipay and Weixin Pay, which made everyday purchases incredibly easy. We also enjoyed the affordability of many services and the absence of mandatory tipping. One elderly hotpot restaurant server even politely declined my tip, explaining that serving customers was simply her job. Her sincerity and dedication were truly touching. Our tour manager did an outstanding job, providing informative explanations and taking exceptional care of every group member throughout the journey. The local guides were also knowledgeable and helpful in sharing China's rich cultural and historical background. Fortunately, our group completed the entire trip without any incidents, and everyone got along wonderfully. The weather was also excellent for most of the journey, especially in Huangshan, where we enjoyed beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Overall, this was a very well-organized and rewarding tour. We sincerely appreciate the dedication of our tour manager, local guides, and everyone at Peony Tours who helped make this journey such a success. We would gladly recommend Peony Tours to anyone wishing to explore China.

Excellent tour

We had a great trip with Peony Tours. This is our second round with this company. Our tour guide Jeffery was the highlight of entire journey. He was very thoughtful, attentive to the needs of different members, especially some seniors. Our trip covered the major sites of history. Hotels were comfortable and modernized. We will book more trips next year.

Jacky Gong is a good and experienced tour guide. He took good care of all group members. Hotel, food, Victoria ship are all good.
